Frequently asked questions
- Will it work on a normal computer or do I need a machine?
- It runs in a browser on whatever you already have — a desktop at the counter, a laptop in the back office, a tablet on the floor. No special billing hardware is required, though barcode scanners work as keyboard input.
- Can staff see only their own shop?
- Yes. Permissions are role-based and can be scoped per location, so a cashier sees their branch and not the company’s figures.
- What happens to a bill if the internet drops?
- It is a hosted system, so billing needs a connection. Plan for that the way you plan for your card machine — most shops keep a mobile hotspot as the fallback.
- Does it print on a thermal printer?
- Yes. Print formats are editable per document type, so the receipt that comes out of your thermal printer is one you have laid out rather than one you have accepted.
