Shopify inventory sync that updates your accounts too
Selling in a shop and on Shopify usually means two stock lists that disagree by Friday, and an accountant rebuilding your online sales from exports at month end. EzyBook keeps one stock list for both, and turns a paid Shopify order into a sale, an invoice, a payment and an accounting entry on its own.

source of truth
One stock figure, both channels
Inventory is pushed out to Shopify as it changes, so the storefront is selling what you actually hold. No overselling a line the shop cleared this morning.
Paid orders become real documents
A paid order arrives as a sale with its invoice, its payment and its accounting entry — not as a row to be totalled later. Online revenue lands in the same P&L as counter revenue.
Your Shopify edits are respected
Product pushes are drift-aware: a field you changed in Shopify is reported and skipped rather than silently overwritten. The sync is not allowed to undo your merchandising.
Priced per rule, not per guess
Pricing rules resolve product over brand over category over global, and a product with no matching rule keeps the price it has. Nothing is repriced by accident.
- Two-way sync: stock out, paid orders in
- Orders become sale, invoice, payment and ledger entry
- Drift-aware product pushes
- Markup rules by product, brand or category
- Daily reconciliation catches anything missed
- GST applied to online sales like any other
Frequently asked questions
- Does it overwrite what I have edited in Shopify?
- No. A field edited in Shopify is detected as drift, reported to you and skipped. The sync corrects stock, not your merchandising.
- What happens if an order is missed?
- A daily reconciliation job re-pushes inventory and backfills orders that did not arrive, so a webhook lost to a network blip does not become a gap in your books.
- Is Shopify sync included in the plan?
- It is a module you switch on, priced separately, so shops without a storefront are not paying for it. Everything it writes lands in the same ledger as the rest of your trade.
